Mother's Day

Mother's Day around here was great.  No formal plans and then impromptu things just happened.  Impromptu is just the best sometimes!  It's easy...it's relaxing...no timelines or deadlines...just fun.

We started off with church in the morning and nice breakfast with Jason's mom.  Then we came home to just chill out and clean up from a busy week.  We had absolutely no plans!  As the day went on we got cars washed, laundry going, garage cleaned up, etc.  Then some friends stopped by on their boat and the kids all went swimming in the lake for their first swim of the year!  They had the best time on the kayaks and jumping off the dock.  Then right after they left...Jason's brother came over with his 3 kids.  And they went swimming too!  Totally unplanned and so much fun.  Cousins are the best!  They swam, caught fish, and then stayed long enough to go out to dinner.  Jason's mom joined us again, too.

Lots of fun for Mother's Day!  We hated to see it end.  No one wanted to go to bed to start the week, but alas, school days come and we gotta be there.  Just a few more weeks and school will be out!
