So The Next Day...

...we got outside to enjoy the snow.

Later that evening we headed for a neighboring soccer field that has a monster hill (monster for our sledding standards).  The kids LOVED it.  Interestingly, some of the snow had melted during midday, but by the time we got there the grass was super frozen and was so slippery you could sled with great, gleeful speed!

Sister trudged up the hill over and over...no complaints.
She commented her ''wegs hurht" once, but it was more of a statement than a complaint.
