The Prize is Pride (and a t-shirt and a book)

Well, we didn't come home with the Regional win, but who needs a plaque when your parents take you into the University Bookstore and let you buy a prize!  Sumner picked a t-shirt and Bebe picked the massive Chronicles of Narnia.  I love that she hasn't seen the movies yet.  I always tell her that books are WAY better than movies.  We really tried to focus them on the fact that they were already winners from their school and that we were so proud of them for taking the opportunity to further themselves.  We wanted them to take pride in their own efforts and the ability to stand in front of judges and explain their work!  BEBE & SUMNER - MOMMY & DADDY ARE SO PROUD OF Y'ALL!!

We left the Sass with my mom while we were at the Math Fair and she got a little special Meme time.  Saw on the other hand stayed with Nana and PawPaw and got spoiled!  He also scored his first goal in soccer!  AND.I.MISSED.IT!  Oh well...let's hope he scores next week.  One more game left in the Spring Soccer season.  It's been a blast, but it's time for a change.  My coaching comes to an end and Jason's starts.  Bring on the baseball!!
Sumner's project had him discovering how hold he would be on 8 planets in the Star Wars Galaxy based on the number of his Earth days divided by the number of days in a planet's complete orbit.  Mommy assisted him in this project.

Bebe's project was about using solar panels to charge everyday devices like cell phones, ipads, and DS's.  Then creating graphs to see if they're a good source for charging.  Blah. Blah. Blah...she understood it better than I did.  Therefore it is obvious that Daddy assisted her in this one!

Good times were had by all...and now we begin the planning for next year!!!
