Tomorrow is Sumner's Birthday! *updated*

Tomorrow, March 2, 2013, my baby boy will be 6.  It's so cliche, but so true...it goes by so fast.

Sumner is a wonder.  He is such a good boy.  Or at least he tries to be!  He is kind and thoughtful.  He'll save his candy to share with his siblings and then turn around and the next time he'll only want to share with one person and exclude others.  Go figure.
He has a silly smile and tells the funniest things that he is thinking about.  I just wish I could remember the half of them.  He dreams a lot at night.  He loves telling you about them when they are funny or good ones.  Some are scary and he comes in my room at night to snuggle in the bed with me.  He says he doesn't like to talk about those, but he usually does.  It usually involves some bad person or animal getting at him or trying to get something he likes.  He still sleeps with Froggy on the top bunk, and he likes to get his sheets, covers, and stuffed animals just so while I read Junie B. Jones.

He is proud of running fast.  He likes to play sports, but is tiring of soccer a bit.  He says he has to run too much.  Although he is still playing this season.  He says he is interested in playing tennis, so we'll see about that.
He doesn't like dogs really.  He's lost 2 teeth.  He still loves spaghetti.  He's into Star Wars.  He doesn't love school.  He doesn't like school.  He tolerates school.  He doesn't hate it or fight about going...thank goodness.  He's learning to read well and do simple addition/subtraction problems.  He loves to play video games on his 3DS.  He likes to battle with his light saber.
He is kinda pouty, and cries easily when his feelings are hurt.  But he's also full of silly laughter and glee when he's in a good mood.  He likes to make jokes...especially Knock Knock jokes!  He's very thoughtful and thinks about God and Jesus a lot.  Thank you Lord for this little lamb!

Happy Birthday, Sumner!  We love you.

**Update**
Sumner had a great birthday!  He wanted Star Wars decorations up when he woke up.  I obliged.  He got some Angry Bird Star Wars t-shirts, which he has been asking for for awhile.  I begrudgingly obliged.  I am not a cartoony t-shirt person.  He played video games ALL day.  He went out to dinner at Taco Bell, per his request, and ate inside!  Big time Whoo hoo!  It was his perfect day!
