Basketball is over...trophies have been awarded...now it is spring soccer time. For 3 kids!
I get to fit that in to the yearbook committee meetings, preschool room mom meetings, new member meetings because we're changing churches, consignment sale preparation, spring break planning, and all the good regular life stuff.
Sawyer is playing for the first time and I cannot wait to see what this little guy can do. He's been in the crowd watching Bebe and Sumner his whole life!
Sumner and Bebe are both playing again this season. Although, I think this might be the last season for Sumner. His enthusiasm for soccer seems to be waning a bit. He's already looking past soccer to t-ball.
Bebe is playing an all-girls team this season. She did that a couple of years ago and I didn't love it because she stood around with a few girls talking about hair and who knows what!? ha ha Somehow I have been roped into coaching her team. I'm not sure how that happened. I don't know soccer...I never even played soccer! I've printed out about 10 pages of rules, drills, and whatnot to study! ha Wish me luck! The upside...I'm making a fun memory (hopefully) with Bebe. The downside...I'll miss seeing most of Sumner's games.
So, if you have the time...say a quick prayer for me being a successful soccer coach...oh and um warm Saturday mornings! Thanks.
