Dang. I didn't win the $337 million dollar Powerball this week. Frowny face. I could've used the extra cash. I probably would've gone right out and done something real crazy like get my hair done in a REAL salon or buy myself a car that was made in this decade! Pish-posh...I guess I'll have to leave those big purchases to the lucky dog in Michigan.
I guess I'm a little jealous. It's fun to talk about the things you would do with a lump sum of $200 million plus. Of course, you're looking at maybe $150 after the government takes it's well-earned (sneer) chunk. I might like to get a new car, add on to my house, go on a sweet vacation with the kids, then take another one withOUT the kids! I don't think I would go crazy. I can't exactly drop the kids off at preschool in a Lamborghini...the car seats wouldn't match...duh! But having a standing 6 week appointment at the hair salon or knowing I can afford soccer cleats would be a mighty fine feeling!
I really don't think it would change us overall. Sure, everyone says that! Of course, it would change the fact that Jason would probably have a little more time at home considering he left his job...but he would quickly be working on a project. I don't think he would have any crazy purchases either except maybe a helicopter or a race car. I think we would be the same ol' people...just with a better boat.
I think at first, if I'm really honest with myself, the biggest thing that would change would be my waistline! I figure I'd gain a few 20 pounds since I'd be eatin' pretty good, but with all that money I'd pay someone to come over and make me workout! ha ha
Well, maybe we'll play the lottery another time...maybe not. I like to still dream about the possibilities!
