Sawyer has been a bit slow in the walking and talking department. Not per the doctor's say-so, but MY say-so. We have been wondering if his on-again-off-again runny noses and ear infections weren't partly to blame. And the verdict is in...YES. Sawyer had tubes put in about a week and half ago. It was a very quick - doctor check-up one day and schedule the surgery a day 1/2 later. (That quick turn around is not usually my style) In this case, within 24-48 hours my baby was repeating words much more willingly and clearly AND he was trying to walk! So 10 days or so later the kid's vocab has increased and he can walk across the house! Yay! Oh yeah...and he now climbs the slide by himself and we help him slide down into the water!
*Now if I could just get him potty trained and to wipe up his face after supper I'd be set!
That baby makes some of the cutest faces ever!!
ReplyDeleteExact same thing happened to my nephew. Within a month of
getting tubes, he was Mr. Jabber Jaws! Like, talking full
sentences and everything. Crazy how all of that stuff is connected!
But it makes sense.
