Updates

I haven't been around the ol' blog here for awhile...priorities are elsewhere.

Instead of going in depth on what I've missed I'll give a quick rundown...

*Bebe turned 12 mid-February.  Her first year of middle school is on the downhill slope, and though she loves it, it is challenging her big time right now.  We have had many, many, many discussions lately on planning ahead, time management, and sorting our priorities properly.

*Sumner turned 9 at the beginning of March.  He's getting so tall.  Still skinny as a beanpole, but taller everyday!

*Basketball season ended.  Sumner's team (a team I drafted ;) ) won the Third Grade Championship.  Sawyer's team did well, but lost in the playoffs.

*Sumner is on a semi-travel baseball team and they had their first tournament last weekend.

*Regular season baseball has started for both boys...Sumner is playing 9-10 kid pitch and Sawyer is playing 8U machine pitch.  Crazy that Saw is 6 and this is his 5th season of machine pitch ball!  Sass is signed up to play T-ball.  Even though I want her to play machine because T-ball might be the most boring sport EVER.  Can you even call T-ball a sport?  We'll love her anyway! haha

*Sumner and Sawyer have started soccer.  Sumner's team is 2-0.  Sawyer's team is 1-0.  Yay.  Sumner is doing Goalie Training as well and doing pretty doggone fantastic.

*Bebe's travel volleyball team was in GA this weekend.  The team did very well.  Better than they have done all season.  Only about 3 more tournaments to go and we can call it a season.  She's learned a lot and loves it, so I'm a little nervous that this travel thing is here to stay.  We'll see!  I'm seeking sponsorships now.  haha

*The Tarheels won the ACC!

*Spring break is coming up and I could not be more happy!!!  I need a week off to clean my house and pull the weeds out of my flower beds!!!

*On my to do list...register for camps, swim team, etc.  I really need to get to planning our summer out.  I seriously have to look at our summer now day-by-day.  There is just so much going on!
