I Do Love a Good Pineapple

I've been loving and collecting pineapples for years and years.  If you can even call it "collecting".  It's not like I have hundreds...I only have a few pineapples because I am that picky!  Most of the knick knack pineapples I do not like.

But when I love it...it's a keeper.  I have this one pineapple lamp for about 15 years and I'll never get rid of it.  Still love it.  I also have a couple of pineapples hanging up that I've had forever.

I do not actively look for new pineapples either; however, on a totally random trip out the other day I found TWO that I just could not do without and they could not be more different!

This is a horrible picture...it is a SILVER pineapple.  Much, much prettier in person.

Don't you love this bright yellow one?!  Like so bright it almost hurts your eyes!

I just love it.  It makes me happy every time I see it.

I also found this golden pineapple print that I left at the store and returned within one week to purchase because a) it was on sale b) it's cute and c) I love it because it reminds me of the gold embossed pineapple I put on my wedding announcements.  Yes, I had a pineapple on my wedding announcement.

And here I put them all together (minus the print).  I don't know if I'll leave it like this, but for now...it's making me think of warm sun and beachy breezes while it sleets outside.  And my mom found me these pineapple book ends, too.  I wasn't sure I liked them at first.  Not as patina-ed (is that a word?) as I thought I wanted, but they've totally grown on me and I really like them now.  And the little pineapple is really just a Christmas ornament that I've never put on a tree and I've always just set out!
