Going, going, gone!

I know!  I know!  I've posted nothing in nearly 3 weeks!  But we have been doing a little bit of swimming, a little bit of baseball, and not enough of the beach!  So we've been going and going and then we were gone for about a week!

We actually just got back from the beach yesterday afternoon.  It was such a nice trip, but the trips are never long enough it seems! haha  More on our beach trip next week!

When we got home a few minutes after 4:00 we did not even unpack the car!  We hopped in Jason's car and headed straight up to the elementary school to meet the boys' teachers at Open House.  Then immediately following we headed across town for Bebe's Open House at the middle school...which was total chaos!  Luckily, after that we grabbed a bite of supper out with Nana and PawPaw Mason.  I say luckily because I was too exhausted to come home and fix a meal!  I mean we hadn't even unloaded the car yet from the beach!  

After supper, we unloaded the car, got the kids to bed, unpacked some bags, started some laundry, stared like a vegetable at the TV for a few minutes, and finally hit the hay!

Never fear though...right back at it this morning!  By 10:00 this morning I'd run to the grocery for milk, started more laundry, unpacked some more bags, taken the kids to get haircuts ($50 for 4...thank you Lord for coupons), and run the heavy school supplies to the boys' classrooms so they wouldn't have so much to carry on Monday!

Back to school Monday!  Ugh!  Where did the summer go?!
