Beach Post...At Least It's A Start

Here's a start on the 300 pictures I took while at the beach last week.  No lie...about 120 were of Sumner throwing ball with his Daddy!  ha ha  The rest I think were of the kids on the skimboards and boogie boards!


These are the ones I took with my phone.  We did a lot of swimming!  And yes, we saw a shark.  Judy and I were dozing reading under the umbrellas when I noticed a woman and a few others down by the water walking quickly towards Mason, Jason, and the kids who were all swimming.  I could see her motioning at them to get out and then yelling at them to GET OUT OF THE WATER!  Jason did not even hear her he said becasue he looked down and saw a shark swimming about 5 inches from his shoulder.  He scooped up Sass and started towards the other kids to get them out.  From the water's edge you could see the shark swimming back and forth a couple of times through the breaking waves.  I mean he was about a 6' shark right there in the breakers!  Anywho...Jason was mad that I didn't get a picture, but I think I was just too stunned to think about my phone.  The kids didn't swim the rest of the afternoon...this happened about 4:00...but they were fine the next day.  But you bet your bottom dollar that we kept sharp eyes on the water from that day on!  Happy note:  We did see a bunch of dolphins go by one morning!  Love dolphins!
