So, we had the Fourth. Happy Belated Fourth everyone. We saw fireworks on the 3rd, which are put on by a group locally and attended by thousands. I used to wonder why do they do it on the THIRD?! It's not Happy Third of July! But I've grown to love it over the years because once you feel like you've seen the big fireworks it makes the 4th somehow even more laid back. We don't have to go anywhere or worry about going to see fireworks. We hang around the house and the kids do their own sparklers and whatnot. There's no where to rush off to or hurry back home from just to get in bed. We can just chill...so now I LOVE THE THIRD OF JULY and THE FOURTH!
We are currently in our last week of swim team. Our team is undefeated in it's league. Championships are Saturday! The boys both qualified for the meet. Sumner is excited. Sawyer is not. More on that later. The girls were not competing during the meets for different reasons. Also more on that later.
