Bible Studies

We just wrapped up Vacation Bible School at church this past week.

Bebe was too old for it this year so she was a volunteer in the 4 year olds group.  She LOVED being a volunteer.  She wants to be a volunteer forever she says!  With the good often comes the bad. Unfortunately for Bebe, The Sass was in the 4 year olds group.  I think she was a little tough to be with.  Big surprise there.  Whenever the volunteers left the group for an errand or to have their snack, Sass fussed at Bebe for leaving her.  She wouldn't leave Bebe to play with the little kids...Sass does not realize she is one of the 4 year olds!  Bebe's age girls...those are her people.

Sawyer cried again this year and would not go the first night.  Jason obliged him one night and he stayed right in his Daddy's shadow for the remainder of the evening.  He was a little whimpery on the second night, but he survived and actually was okay the last two nights.  It didn't help that one of his good friends that was registered didn't get to come.

Sumner is always easy going.  Luckily he had a good group of friends and so he had a really good time.

And not to be forgotten...
Bebe went to a sleep away camp in June with the church.  This is her third year going. She always has a wonderful time.  She loves these little cooking classes and art classes that they do there.  There is also this big chaos party time on the last day of camp...like color wars and water play and shaving cream play all wrapped in one.  She thinks it's just the bees knees!  Anywho, she's already looking forward to and dreading next year...it will be the last year that she can go before she ages out.  However, Sumner will be able to go next year for the first time and he is soooo excited to go.  Even though I hate for them to be away from me for almost a week, I feel better knowing that they have about 10 adult church members there as chaperones and about 50 other kids from our church are there all having fun and looking out for each other!

Bebe and a friend right before boarding the bus for camp!
