Now the Sass may be mature, but she doesn't exactly understand the time frame of the seasons and/or the order in which they come. So when I said, "Well Sass, you can't start dance until the Fall", she wanted to know exactly what day that would be. I lied and said that we were not currently in the midst of Fall during this conversation, which it most certainly was, and that I would let her know when it got close.
Fast forward a week...
Sass: Is it The Fall yet?
Me: No

So here we are in our leotard, tights, and dancer's bun! The Fall and Dance has arrived!

Thanks Meme for getting her lessons to 'do dance' for her birthday and Christmas!
She is TOO cute! I also kind of love your rule that they don't start something til they are older! Annie M started the whole mommy and me thing when she was little and we only had her and honestly, it was a bit too early and just exhausted me. Now Comer is about to turn 2 and I keep thinking oh! maybe I should try this or that with him because all of our other friends have their kids in stuff! I totally feel pressure to, but I DONT want to run around in the evenings like a chicken with my head cut off and he is still little so really, there is no need to! I appreciate this post and that there are other moms who wait!
