Number Order

Each season there is That Mom who arrives with her mega camera...lenses extended...professional strap wrapped around her arm...eyeing the angle of the sun.  That Mom is leaning over the fence to take 311 pictures of her son/daughter standing on first base or picking his/her nose at short stop or preparing to hit the ball.  That Mom stands in front of everyone else to take her shots...oblivious to the fact that she is clearly blocking other's views.  She'll often follow the kid (outside the fence, of course) down the first base line and then rush back around behind the dugouts to the third base line.  Quite often That Mom will try to yell/whisper for her kid to look at the camera during the game...which always blows my mind!  What I don't understand is if you have these high-tech lenses and focus and zooming capabilities why must you get right up in the game to take photos?!

It's a game...not a photoshoot.

That being said...at the first game of each season I will be That Mom for just this shot.  In my defense, I only do this once!

Each baseball season I rush to the bench to get this shot.
They didn't have a number 9.
Hint:  Saw is #5 for the Nationals.

Sumner is #5 on the Braves.
I love them sitting in number order!  Sweetest thing!
I know...I have a numbers disorder.
