Weekend before last we finished up our soccer season. Below are two pictures following the last game. The first is my team, minus 2 girls, that I coached this spring season. The second is a picture of all of the girls that played on the 2 all-girl teams that played this year. It was great fun...a little crazy at times, but I do not regret spending this extra time with my favorite player on the team...Bebe!
The next 2 pictures are of Sawyer's team and Sumner's team. Sawyer scored another goal in this last game, so Jason and I were there to witness it! Yay! Sumner's team has had basically the same players for like 2 or 3 years so they're great pals and all know each other really well. It's fun and they all get along great! And we'll continue right into baseball with some of these boys!

Sawyer turned 4 on Saturday (along with his Daddy and Nana)! He's getting so big. He really likes tractors and trailers and anything John Deere. His great uncle (that he also shares a birthday with) loaned us his 1956 tractor (or was it '57) to ride Saw around the yard and down the street for his big day. Let's just say he LOVED it. You could hear his whoo-hoo's over the roar of the tractor engine. All of his grandparents came, his Uncle Penn and Aunt T, and his "Uncle" Moreland. Everyone wore their overalls, John Deere gear, or some green...it was awesome. And though he had a tractor party...he wanted a Star Wars cake. Which he got. With Darth Vader and young Annakin Skywalker on the cake.
After the party was over Jason and Moreland played baseball with the boys in the backyard while Nana did some swinging with the girls. We grabbed a bite out at a restaurant before Jason and Moreland took Bebe, Sumner, and Sawyer down on the dock to do some late night fishing while listening to the race. Sass hit the tub and then the hay. I'm telling you if you don't know Saw...this is his idea of a PERFECT day!
