Well, we
were.
The season is over now. But I'm determined to get y'all caught up on all our doin's since my big picture hiatus!
Jason coached Sumner's flag football team this fall. Sumner has asked for over a year to play. We indulged him and HE LOVED IT. He scored 3 touchdowns, had a turn at all positions (as are the rules), and pulled several flags. His team was pretty pitiful in the beginning. Losing badly their first 2 of 3 games. (Even though you're not supposed to keep score...who doesn't?) Come to find out all of his teammates, including Sumner, were newbies to the game. But with an awesome coach...Coach Jason...they ended in high style playing great football. They were 3-3 for the season! The best part? The boys, and the one girl, had a great time and were smiling from ear to ear no matter the score!
