Sawyer is now 3 (more on his birthday soon) and is ADAMANT about not going to the potty. We've gone through all the "please's" and "it'll be great's" and "you're a big boy now". We've bought new underwear, the Easter Bunny brought new undies, and we've promised to let him pick new undies. He's just not ready, folks! Until Mommy bought a BIG bag of peanut M&Ms in front of everyone (meaning the siblings) and said these are all for Sawyer...no one else. He can have as many as he wants if he goes pee pee in the potty. I even emptied the bag and put them in a mason jar for all to see. I gussied it up with a curly-cue green ribbon to be festive. I proclaimed these to be Sawyer's M&Ms. No one, not Mommy or Daddy, can even have one. And it worked...sort of. He's gone potty 2 times! The first time he was so excited we told him he could call a grandparent and tell someone. But it was so cute because he wanted to call his preschool teacher, Ms. Janet. We called her up and she was awesome...she congratulated him and was super peppy about it...very encouraging. But that was Sunday night and no luck since then. But...it's a start!
