It all started yesterday morning with the sounds of the helicopter....my oh my...who could it be???
Who did the chopper drop off before it flew away?
Why the Easter Bunny of course! Isn't that how all Easter Bunnies arrive to your church egg hunt? ha ha Sooo cute and the kids LOVED it (and some parents too)!
We attempted a bunny pic, but noooo...Sassy was so scared she was desperately trying to get away! Saw isn't even in the picture...he was hiding behind our legs!
And then it was on to the EGG HUNTIN'!!! Sawyer and Sass were in the birth to 2 year old group! It took them about 15 minutes to clear the huge field of about 2,000 eggs. Very cute...lots of parents taking photo ops and so forth.
These 2 were very happy campers.
And then it was the big man's turn. We let him go with the 3 & 4 year olds because he's a newly minted 5 year old and we didn't want him to get mauled by some big ol' kids in the 5 & 6 year old groups! ha ha It took this crowd about 8-10 minutes to clear the field of eggs.
Another happy hunter!
And then it was on to the big kids...the 7 & 8 year olds! Let me just say...when they said "GO!" it was on. These kids were like termites to a piece o' wood on a cartoon. You could literally hear the buzz as they mowed the field of about 2,000 eggs in about 1 minute.

Go, Bebe go!
Go, Bebe go!
True action shot!
And here's our happy little Easter bunnies on Sunday morning BEFORE church! The Easter Bunny came and left them a chocolate bunny, some ring pops and a little individualized treat. Saw got some undies (we're trying to motivate his bum outta diapers), Bebe got some sparkly nail polish, and Sumner got some Pez refills. Then it was outside for a quick egg hunt left by the Bunny...which is purely jelly beans and money! And no, Bebe did not wear crocs to church...her nice pink patent leathers are in the car. We didn't want them in the wet grass!
Sawyer is pumped!
Success! I got a quarter!
Saw is serious!
Quick group shot and then off to church!
After church we went to Nana and PawPaw Mason's for Easter lunch and another egg hunt with the cousins! Yay! What a great day!
He is Risen!
