Yesterday

Yesterday my big girl turned 8!  I cannot believe it! 

Dear Bebe,
You are our first baby.  Our sweet girl.  We love you with all our heart.  We learn where we are going together each day.  Everyday brings a new experience for us.  You are learning the way of the world each day and your Daddy and I are learning how to raise an 8 year old each day.  We hope we don't make any mistakes, but that is inevitable.  You are not perfect...we are not perfect.  My biggest hopes are that you are happy and feel safe at this age.  We want you to look back and know that we are here for you and will always love you no matter what.  That is what we are trying to give you today, so that you will have that love and safety in your heart for the future.
Happy Birthday sweetheart!  We love you.  You are silly, have a great laugh, a twinkle in your eye, love to read, play your DS, play dolls (American Girl and babies and Barbies and princesses and fairies), you play cars with your brothers, you swing and swim and ride your bike.  You still get scared at times...you are not always the first to try somethingnew, but you usually will try eventually.  You are kind and caring...you have a good sense of right and wrong, even when you test the "wrong" waters.  You love some chips and some candy, but also fruit and veggies.  You love to paint and to draw.  You don't always love homework, but do it without major complaint.  You love to watch movies and eat popcorn.  You like soccer and dance and Acro.  You are an all around good girl and we love you so much.
