So let's be all chronological and go back a week...
We spent a long weekend at the beach with cousins and it was so much fun to see all 7 of the kids playing together...

The Crew
We had a great time staying at a resort at the beach. Something I haven't done in at least 20+ years...and now we've done it twice this summer. It was definitely different than what we're used to, but we had a great time. This place had like 10 pools, was close to an amusement park, and most importantly had a great beach to watch the kids all play together! I think they all had a wonderful time being able to spend a couple of days together. It was interesting to see the cousin Littles pair up to their cousin Bigs. And for my boys to "hang" with an older boy like JD is always fun to observe. You can see it in their eyes they see him as so much older and one of the coolest boys ever.
They had played so well together on the beach...swam in the pools...sang karaoke at the hotel at night (which I could not believe Sass and Sumner would ever do, but they did!) It was hilarious to see how excited they were to get up in front of a crowd to sing! Of course, I don't think it would've crossed their minds to do it if it had not been for the bravery of cousin MC!
It was also a pleasure to see them want spend the night with each other and basically play musical beds all weekend! I think they did some major bonding and I know they will remember this trip for a long time!
