Easter (Photo Overload!)

We had a great Easter!  Although it was cold and rainy on Saturday, and our church egg hunt was held inside, we made the most of it.  We did a lot of clean up around the house during the day, and later we dyed Easter eggs at Nana's house.  I've never waited so late in the week to do eggs, but we had so much fun!

Sunday...we woke up to sun and warmer temps...and the Easter Bunny came!  I do not do the huge Easter baskets with a enough toys to rival Santa.  I'm sorry...I just think baskets have gotten out of hand!  At our house he left a chocolate bunny, a few jelly beans, chocolate eggs, a pencil, a Pez dispenser, and a plastic cup.  The Bunny also leaves an egg hunt outside!  The eggs had some erasers, stickers, a couple of jelly beans, but mostly coins.  It sounds like a lot, but divided by four kids...it's just enough.

It was a great day for church...because THAT'S THE POINT! and going to Nana's to hang out with cousins!  The kids had a fun egg hunt, played baseball in the front yard, and ran around playing hide-n-go-seek and whatnot.  What's better than playing in the sunshine with your cousins?

Headed to church!
EGG HUNT!

On to front yard baseball...

 and some dancing.

Then we took it to another level...
and hit a nearby baseball diamond for serious hitting lessons from Uncle John and JD.

All in all a very good Easter holiday!  I hope you enjoyed yours as much as we did!
