Let's Do the Math

Every Thursday night I get the kids to bring their laundry to the back hall so that I can do it while they're at school on Friday.  I usually stare at the piles in amazement!  How can there be sooo much in just 7 days?  And this is just the kids' laundry!  Let's do the math...
In one week for one kid:
7 long-sleeve shirts
2 random sweatshirts or sweaters
3 or more t-shirts from afterschool activities
9 pairs of pants from school and afterschool activities
7 (or more) pairs of socks
7 (or more) pairs of undies

All of which equals 35 items at the very minimum.
Then you multiply that by 4 kids...which is 140.  However, you must add in 1 dance leotard and 1 pair of tights!

And your grand total is 142 items of clothing to wash. Each. Week.  MINIMUM!

Need proof? 4 piles sorted into 1)pinks/purples/reds 2)whites/grays 3) dark blues/blacks & 4) light blues/greens/yellows/browns/oranges

Don't I have the cutest little pajama'd sorter?

And don't forget...I get to FOLD them, too!  Luckily, they're beginning to put their own clothes away!  Yay for growing up!
