FIVE

Sumner is FIVE today!  I always tell the kids the night before..."Wow.  This is the last night you'll EVER be 4 years old!  And tomorrow you'll wake up and be 5!"  They always love this and get so excited at the thought.  I also always brag on them first thing in the morning about how I can tell how much taller they look, too.  They also love this and they straighten up and walk with their head a little higher. 
So, on with the mush...
Sumner,
We love you soooo much.  You are funny and silly and have a great giggle.  We love that you think you can tell Knock Knock jokes and we laugh because you try and we love it!  You are picky about your food, unless it is Italian or involves ranch.  You are picky about your clothes unlike no one I've ever seen.  No collars, no buttons, no embroidery, no sweaters, sweatshirts ...only on occasion, no pants with color ...only gray, black, navy, or jeans, no dinosaurs, few trains, and very little brown anything.  You love to play Batman, Spiderman, Cars, airplanes, bowling, video games, golf, baseball, soccer, basketball, and football.  You like Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse, Ben 10 (even though I won't let you watch it), Mr. Men, and a few other things.  You are kind to your brother and sisters, when you choose to be kind.  You like the color red...no more orange and you do not like to be called SummyBear anymore!  You love chocolate milk and peppermint patties!  You have a great smile...the sweetest little grin and big eyes.  You are smart and a great thinker...lots of thoughts, questions, and Sumner-isms.  You can be a sweet little snuggler and love to be read to.  We hope you accomplish all of your dreams...even if it is a race car driver and an army man - both.
